Darwin and his crew worked on my major apartment renovation as subcontractors for Bell Decor Design and Build. Darwin was the on-site supervisor for much of the project. They did a terrific job, in terms of the quality of the work, responsiveness to issues, and adapting to the many rules and challenges of working in my co-op apartment building.

Darwin and his crew do great work. I've used DG Home Improvement for several projects ranging from kitchen backsplashes to grout work on outdoor flagstone pavers. His crew are courteous, show up on time and care about their work product. I would highly recommend them for home improvement projects.

We knew Darwin, DG's principal, through one of his many happy clients, and specifically his residential projects. We were aware of his skills, proactiveness and resourceful and accommodating approach in business. For these reasons, we hired him for the build-out of our new offices in Georgetown, and we cannot be happier with the result. Especially remarkable given that it was his first non-residential project!
Disclaimer: our business is interior design, so we have exposure to many contractors (that is what we do all day). He was held to the highest standard and still exceeded expectations. Plus he and his team are great people.

Darwin and his team did an amazing job. Their attention to detail was remarkable. I recommend them very highly. They painted the exterior of our 1920’s stucco home and a tin roof and did all the trim. Their work was meticulous.

This is the first time that I contracted with Darwin and DG Home Improvements; it will not be the last. The scope of work started with kitchen and bathroom renovations. His team did an excellent job installing new tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, rebuilding the floors of the shower and new tile, installing new shower glass surrounds, vanity, mirror, lights, plumbing. His team can do it all. Then the scope expanded to painting the entire condo. His crew was meticulous with patching every hole and imperfection on the walls, then applying two coats of paint. I have painted several times myself, so I can really tell when someone does an excellent job, like Darwin's crew did. One day I was going to ask him to patch around all of the light switches and outlets, which are always a mess, but he had already done that. He doesn't miss any detail. Darwin was very easy to work with from day 1 and he was very responsive. I highly recommend him and his team.
